By a great twist of fate, I was looking for music to inspire epic battle scenes for my nano novel and I found two songs (from the same band 30 Seconds To Mars) while looking at a game trailer for my new fav game. Here's the only vids I could find for them since the new album with these songs doesn't come out until December. The first one is the trailer to my game with the song This Is War and the second is the full length version of Kings & Queens from their new album. I'm posting this incase it can help inspire others who might need a little inspiration with their own writing. :D

It has blood, it has gore, it has interesting characters (kick ass females!) and most important of all! An awesome storyline! This is a game worth your money. I promise you.
After NanoWriMo, I'm not going to write any new multi-chaptered fanfiction. I'm only going to finish off a few fics and delete the ones I've completely lost interest in. As much as readers hate waiting on unfinished fics, I hate staring at them knowing that its never gonna get done. It'll save both them and me heartache. Oh, but I will probably still write up a few one-shots here and there, but that's about all.
Fics I plan to finish in chronological order:
-Dating Sai? (Two chapters left.)
-Blackmail (Three chapters left.)
-Like A Tatoo (Reconciliation Arc)
-Beautiful Fighter (Tournament Arc)
*Hear No Evil, See No Evil will be worked on and updated in-between working on the others. Sorry, I can only write smut when the mood hits me and I can never tell when that is. Know that it only has two more chapters left.
Any incomplete fic not mentioned will be deleted by December 1st, 2010.
While I was supposed to be writing for Nano, a rabbid bunny bit my ankle and wouldn't let go. I had to write out the short fic just so I could get back to working on my novel! (Although I did get most of my quota done for the day, so its not so bad.) All I can say is that its about Sasuke and its NOT work safe, but its NOT Yaoi either. There is no pairing.

This does not include the fact that I had to make the grocery list for the entire month for the hubbs to shop by and a new chore wheel for him and the neice to follow. Nano is Srs Bznz.

So, yeah, this goes without saying, but nothing fanfiction wise will be coming from me during the month of November. (Not that anything really came from me anyway. :P) Still, just thought I should mention it. Have fun my fellow Nanonites! I had started this fic way back before my last oneshot (The ItaSaku) and its taken this long to get it out. Well, its finally here! I am so happy with the way this came out. It even leaves an opening for a sequel that I'm entertaining actually writing. Anyway, here it is and might I just say that I SO love this hot little pairing now. There are 11 books in the Honor Harrington Series by David Weber. I bought this book at the begining of last week.... I have now purchased and read up to book number 4 already! Its like crack! I can't put it down! Not only is Honor Harrington intelligent, agile, and graceful, but she can command a ship like no other, save your ass in a fire-fight, throw a grown man across the room, and turn her enemies to ash with just a single glare! She's like Captain Janeway (star trek), Sigourney Weaver (from Aliens), and Major Kusonagi (Ghost in the Shell) all rolled into one! I can honestly say that every book so far has had me sitting on the edge of my seat, laughing, cheering, and even crying. Book 2: The Honor Of The Queen...I cried 7 times. Its that fecking epic.
So, if you're wondering what I've been doing? Yeah, I've been reading. :P

After being struck by lightning with the idea for my Original NaNo Novel, I've begun buying various resources that are relevant to my plot. Already equiped with every Zombie movie known to man in my DVD arsenal, I started collecting whatever written works I could get my hands on. I initially went out to get Pride and Prejudice and Zombies today. Unfortunately our ONLY bookstore in this friggen place was sold out. (I put in an order for it though that should hopefully arrive by the 1st of May. Yay!.) So, instead, I came home with World War Z by Max Brooks (Author of The Zombie Survival Guide). With that said, I have way too much reading to do. And with the particular subject matter, I need to bone up on my medical jargon and know-how and do some actual DNA/gene-code research and the like. Oh god, not to mention various weapon speccs, various world cultures and... and... *Headdeask*
Oh well, even with all the crap I still have to do, I have already started on developing the outline for my Horror/Science-Fiction novel. I have the basic draft completed, but will obviously be sticking in alot more between now and November -the month to actually start writing.
I hope to have character bios and rough sketches -oh my god, the stick figures!- done before then too. Yes, I still have 6 and a half months to go, but thats a lot of information I have to cram in my head and somehow spew forth from my fingers. (All alongside taking care of the family, mind you.) So yeah, other than my Ita/Saku -that spawned this idea in the first place- I don't plan to churn out anything else fanfiction related at this time. But I probably will after the New Year. (However, I may still toss out a poorly written smut one-shot fic here and there just to let off some steam once in a while. 'Cause, you know, a mind can only take so much Post Apocalyptic Zombie Warfare at one time. But that all depends on my mood and work load.)
So, hope you understand and don't go running for the pitchforks and torches just yet! I will update (my other fics) just not right now.
